CAMPS 2008
PLAYWORKS - Rising 9-12^th graders  
A one week workshop designed to explore different aspects of theater on a more advanced level. Actors will receive instruction in acting and directing and will do a one act presentation on Friday evening.
$135
June 23-26 -  Noon to 5pm @ Curtain Call Place
Performance  @ The Art Place June 27, 7pm

PLAYHOUSE Junior -   Rising 3-5th graders
A one week day camp with an educational focus:  Learn  basic acting skills,  character development and theater games! Have fun, use creativity, gain confidence and stage presence ! Performance for family
and friends the last day.

PLAYHOUSE Senior -  Rising 6-8th graders
A one week day camp with an educational focus: Learn intermediate acting skills, character development, improv and theater games! Work on scripted scenes. Newcomers as well as CCYP veterans are welcome.
Be challenged to improve acting skills, confidence and stage presence. Performance for family and friends the last day.

Session 2 @ The Art Place - July 21-25  10:00 am - 3:00 pm -

BROADWAY USA- Rising 6-12th graders
Directed by musical theater professionals, Courtenay Collins and Nina Jones.
Participants receive instruction in musical theater skills, learn five Broadway
musical numbers and perform for friends and family the last evening.
$250
July  14-17 10:00am - 3:00pm @ Curtain Call Place
July 18 4:00 - 7:00pm @ The Art Place followed by performance 7:00pm

WORKSHOPS 2008

 Audition Techniques-Rising 5-8th graders

Learn basic audition skills from a professional actress. Learn how to make your "cold readings" hot by voice, physical presentation and interaction with other actors. Overcome stage fright and build confidence.  $50

July 7 & 9, 10:00am-1:00pm @ Curtain Call Place

Advanced Audition Techniques- Rising 9-12th graders

Want that part? Go for it! Learn from a professional actress how to make the best of yourself. Learn a monologue that is right for you and will sell you ! Participate in a mock audition. $50
