Audition Requirements:
You will have two minutes to audition. Please present
• Two contrasting monologues OR
• One monologue and one song. If you are singing, you must provide your own accompaniment.

PROGRAM DETAILS: Are you a rising 9th to 12th grader who loves our CCYP programs, but wants more of a challenge? Our Troupe program is made for you!

Troupe is an audition-based, year-long program running August - July. Over the course of a year, the group will be immersed in a variety of dramatic material-- everything from classical plays to 10-minute one acts, from comedies to tragedies and farce to melodrama. We will work on a range of performance skills and techniques as well as the technical and design skills to work backstage. There will be several opportunities to perform throughout the year, in several venues.

Troupe will meet the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month from 6-9 PM, with additional rehearsals scheduled on an as-needed basis.  Troupe is designed to be a flexible program that accommodates the busy schedule of the typical high school student.  Attend as many meetings as you can - the more meetings you attend, the more drama you will do.  All Troupe members are required to attend at least 50% of the meetings over the course of the year.

We will accept up to 16 students for the year.  We will consider TECHNICAL ONLY positions if requested, subject to an interview.  Tuition is $300 for the year, payable in two $150 installments (August & January). A discounted tuition of $275 is available if paid entirely in August. There may be additional fees for field trips, special performances, costumes, etc.  These will be closely managed and communicated well in advance.
